Some vehicles will require an extension strap to allow a tether strap or upper anchorage strap on a child restraint to be connected to the child restraint anchor point in the vehicle. In particular, many station wagons and sedans require the extra strap to reach the anchor point.

Extension straps are available in 300mm and 600mm lengths to suit most vehicles and child restraints.

This extension strap is suitable for child restraints manufactured from March 1993 onwards.
