A TOG-rated, safer alternative to loose blankets, this fitted mattress sleeve is easy to use and flexible for different sleep environments. Fits securely and firmly all the way around a mattress for peace of mind, and falls flat if baby manages to wriggle out. Use over the top of a swaddle or layer to provide added warmth, security and comfort for an infant during sleep without the risk of coming untucked.

TOG-rated

Each Side of the HugMe Blanket is TOG-rated for use in different temperatures. Flip the sheet over to have the appropriate warmth TOG-rating on top of your baby, following the included Room Thermometer and What To Wear Guide for help dressing your baby when using the HugMe Blanket.

Adjustable Firmness

Two zips on each side allow you to adjust to two levels of firmness to help calm the startle reflex.

1.0 TOG side: Organic cotton 55% / Bamboo Viscose 40% / Elastane 5%
0.2 TOG side: Organic cotton 95% / Elastane 5%

Made from Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified organic cotton that is non-toxic and gentle on irritable skin. All ergoPouch fabrics are dyed with non-toxic water based dyes.

Care

How to wash and dry your HugMe Blanket
Gentle cold machine wash in mild detergent.
Do not soak or bleach.
Tumble Dry Low.
Warm iron if required.
Do not dry clean.

When cared for properly, this product will last several years and can be used for more than one baby. Our TOGs don't lose their warmth ratings over time, but a gentle fluff up in the dryer on a low setting helps maintain the fiber's loft, allowing air to circulate more effectively.

Warnings

Suitable for babies born full term (37 weeks +), weighing 3kg+ and measuring minimum 50cm in length.
Ensure baby's feet are touching the end of the bassinet/cradle when in use, and the HugMe Blanket is positioned no higher than mid-way up baby's chest.
Do not use with more than one child inside the HugMe Blanket
Discontinue use once your baby shows signs of rolling over
It is recommended to sleep baby on back from birth
For use only with a bassinet or cradle mattress. The mattress that this product is used with should have a firm surface, soft bedding is not recommended
Do not modify the product
Do not overdress baby when using the HugMe Blanket, to prevent overheating. Follow the dressing guide provided with the product for more information.
